Chili

Ingredients:
3 lbs Ground Beef
1 cup chopped white onion
2 stalks of celery, chopped
3 Beef Bouillon cubes
2 Large cans of Tomato Soup
2 cans of Kidney Beans (I used light and dark)
2 1/2 cups of cooked spaghetti (not the long noodles - the short ones like macaroni)
Sugar, Chili Powder and Pepper to taste

Toppings/Sides:
Cheddar cheese shredded
Saltine Crackers

Brown ground beef in stock pot. I like to add some Chili Powder at this point to "cook" it into the meat.

In a second pot, bring water to a boil and add macaroni. Chop onion and celery into small pieces. I have to remember to make my celery super duper small of I hear about it.

Add onion and celery to ground beef.

Add beans into ground beef, onion, and celery.

Once noodles have cooked, rinse them in cold water to stop the cooking process. (If you forget to do this they will turn to mush much sooner.) Add the tomato soup and 2 cans of water to the stockpot. Let chili come to a boil then serve.

Plain chili.

Chili with CHEESE.

This recipe was originally my Mom's. I've slowly but surely given it my own twist.

hmmm....I don't put beans in until the very end and I add lots of chili powder and sometimes cumin and red pepper flakes...I've even added pepper sauce. And no celery.
